Your duties: compiling the wine list and combining wine packages with the changing tasting menu. You think "out of the box" in your choices and do not immediately go for the well-known names. You think along with the total concept of Brasserie Bakboord. Primarily you take care of the wines during the service. Wine pairing provides the ultimate tasting menu experience. You advise our guests in this.

You also have a cooperative role as host / hostess, receiving guests and providing top service. Maintaining guest contact, actively asking for feedback on quality and service. Following on the basis of practical experience of trends and developments in the market. So far, so good? Then read on.

We expect from you:

  • You are a certified Sommelier (SWEN 2-3)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a fine-dining restaurant
  • Speaks and writes Dutch and English fluently
  • Passion for gastronomy

The service team

The knowledgeable front-of-house team is guided by Chris Bos, and his charming assistant Rianne Steenkamp. Chris, with his extensive wine knowledge, knows all the regulars by heart. Rianne ensures innovation and development in order to convey the best Bakboord experience to the guest as a team.

The restaurant team, professionals, bespoke and friendly will do their utmost to ensure that every single guest leaves completely satisfied.

The kitchen team

Executive Chef Lars Bertelsen and chef Chen Droog have been working together for over 7 years.

Where one may be stronger in terms of innovation and taste, the other excels in organizing and implementation.

With respect for each other, they learn from one another. They motivate each other to make every single new dish better than the last. They are a cradle of experience and knowledge where all chefs working in the kitchen can rely on and enrich with.
